A brief newsfeed scroll today as I just returned from being ‘on the road’ over the long weekend and the start of round two of a heatwave here in NE Ohio … Remember now, I am NOT complaining.
Quick shout-out to Clay Travis and Buck Sexton celebrating their very successful first anniversary of taking charge of the timeslot held so long by Rush Limbaugh (who is still missed). Clay and Buck have been so steady and awesome. Congrats on your first year, and keep it coming, guys! Access podcasts here.
Prescient Quote of the Day:
“We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force.” – Ayn Rand
Undeniable Reality Being Willfully Denied:
The fact that the current administration and the government and DOJ under its control are ignoring and/or shrugging-off these leftist threats but are obsessed with J6 (which was far less ‘threatening’/‘terrorizing’ and destructive than one night of the countless nights for two years of BLM/antifa “mostly peaceful” riots) and angry parents demanding public schools do their academic jobs and knock off the CRT and gender/trans bullshit is pretty much confirming the start of what Ayn Rand warned about.
Brianna Lyman: ‘Night Of Rage’: Eerie Flyers Pop Up In DC Ahead Of Roe v. Wade Decision
A letter purportedly from Jane’s Revenge and posted to The Anarchist Library says the impending decision “is an event that should inspire rage in millions of people who can get pregnant.”
“We need the state to feel our full wrath,” the letter reads. “We need them to be afraid of us.”
“Whatever form your fury takes, the first step is feeling it. The next step is carrying that anger out into the world and expressing it physically. Consider this your call to action. On the night the final ruling is issued — a specific date we cannot yet predict, but we know is arriving imminently — we are asking for courageous hearts to come out after dark.”
The letter asks individuals to “make your anger known.”…
And they are using the same discriminatory thought process on crime…
William Otis: The Klan Was Never This Effective
There’s just no dressing this up. The reality depicted here is a disgrace and a scandal. If Alabama or South Carolina or some other “Trump” jurisdiction had a murder rate of black people forty times what it is for whites, do you think that might get, say, at least a smidgen of the anguished publicity the MSM gave the recent mass shootings, grotesque as they were? Do you think Merrick Garland might be able find his way to the microphone? Or Joe Biden?
Still, the gross imbalance in the Left’s well-hyped outrage, revealing as it is, is not the main problem. The main problem is murder, and specifically the out-of-control murder of black people. Although the problem is particularly awful in Chicago, it exists to a lesser but still appalling extent in the country as a whole. Overall in the United States, blacks are 12.5% of the population but 53% of the murder victims.
So if we thought — to pick a phrase out of the air — that black lives matter, what would we do?
We wouldn’t knock down statues or re-name streets or hold long-faced academic symposia about 1619. We would reduce the murder rate. We would do what we know works to accomplish this: (1) hire more police rather than defund them, (2) do more aggressive policing rather than less, (3) focus on the specific neighborhoods where crime is concentrated, and (4) lengthen prison sentences for those convicted of violent crime before rather than after it escalates into murder.
Those are exactly the four steps to save black lives that the Left and the “criminal justice reform” movement have spent years furiously opposing, on the grounds that — ready now? — they’re racist. In fact, as the title of this entry implies, the Klan was never as effective as the Left has been, and continues to be, at putting black lives at risk.
Landon Mion: Suspect in deadly Taiwanese church shooting in California charged with hate crime: David Wenwei Chou could face the death penalty if he is convicted of all charges … The killer and the victims are all of the Asian race. Yes, as with most crimes, there is an element of hate that motivates. This is the political-driven terrorism of the China – Taiwan land and sovereignty dispute. And of course the killer hates the Taiwanese people in that church. His CCP government has induced that hate with the conditioning of divisiveness … much like the political left is doing in our country with our people of different races, creeds, and sexual/gender identification.

Control on all fronts of our lives, including the vaccine program…
USAToday: COVID vaccines for kids under 5 are finally here. But most parents aren’t jumping in line.
Does anybody else think it's illogical that FDA okayed Covid vaccines in babies "for the prevention of COVID-19" when they also admit the vaccines don't prevent Covid? And they say children stand a statistical zero change of serious illness from Covid?

Right now there are far more deaths from Fentanyl than COVID, and some are very young, with very little children accidentally coming into contact with drugs laced with the deadly chemical…

J.J. Sefton @ AoSHQ: Blame Schiff-ting
Tuesday and in discussing the complete flop of the J-6 kangaroo court show trial on last week’s award-winning ™ podcast, CBD and I both agreed that while given the state of our economy and the world in general, this is about the last thing anyone could care fuck-all about, it nevertheless is an absolutely crucial milepost of our dissolution. Yet another in a long string of republic-ending high crimes and frankly insurrectionist behavior that so far have included the theft of a national election, the continued imprisonment and persecution of scores of innocent citizens, the weaponization of the governmental bureaucracy to suppress any free speech that counters the approved narrative of the junta in power and, ironically enough, the intentional crashing of the economy itself.
Just to reiterate and encapsulate the actual events of January 6th, as President Trump held a peaceful rally almost a mile away from the actual Capitol building (and where he urged rally goers to leave peacefully and quietly), a “riot” that was staged by the FBI and Capitol PD entrapped a number of unarmed protesters who were allowed into the building and did nothing more than snap selfies and gawk at the drapes. The only deaths were of two unarmed women, Ashli Babbit and Roseanne Boyland, executed at the hands of the police, as well as a cop, Brian Sicknick, who died later that day of an unrelated heart attack.
This Reichstag Weenie Roast event, gentle reader, has been called by those who planned and executed it — the Democrat and GOP-e parties, and federal law enforcement entities — an assault on “our precious democracy” (*vomits) greater than the Civil War, Pearl Harbor and 9/11 combined. Insurrection! they exclaimed.

I believe the Trump meddling in Georgia was debunked awhile ago.
As to anyone ‘testifying’ at this monkey show (and it is not even a trail … or at the very least a valid ‘hearing’, given the lack of counter argument/questioning), it is completely negated by the one-sided witnesses who are not being countered by republicans.
Just imagine if this were a real trial and not a deliberate public show trial for complete political purposes. Imagine if anyone had a trial like this without benefit of counter evidence or testimony or witnesses … or even the ‘jurors’ (in this case Cheney and that crybaby handpicked by Pelosi).
Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger should burn in Hell for their part in this fiasco.

I have been watching these January 6th hearings. Today’s had a lot of particularly moving things in it and made Trump look awful.
But anyone watching with half a brain can see the selective indignation of this committee. Even as they show these edited clips of Trump pressuring state officials to find more votes for him, and talking about this is the first time in our history there has been an effort to take down an election, we can see glaring inconsistencies all over the place.
Where was their anger at Hillary for her treasonous efforts to lie and try to take down Trump for four years? “He know he is not legitimate President.”
Where was their anger at all of the obvious lawbreaking in Pa. and other states during this election process.?
And above all where was their rage at all the real murders, violence and destruction of property in all of the liberal run cities all over the country for so long?
Those who were threatened by zealous Trump supporters for being good public election workers – their stories are sad and scary. But I am skeptical that those who threatened them were really Trump supporters. I believe they were, as they were so often before, lefties parading as Trump supporters to make Trump look bad. But even if they were Trumpers, where is the committee’s worry over the current threats to Supreme Court Justices’ homes?
I despise elective indignation.
