Since our inception we have been told that “America is an idea”.
When you were a kid, did your parent(s) or teacher(s) ever scold you to “just get that idea right out of your head right now!” when you dared think contrary to their dictatorial rule over your immature status??
Prior to election day while hiding out in his basement Joe Biden claimed that America is an ‘idea’ that was ‘never lived up to’.
Well, he had a mentor that confirmed Joe’s long profitable political career as one our arrogant self-serving power-addicted overseers that fully believes Barry-O’s missive of even our basic liberties and rights… and by that control over our governing…

Biden fully intends to pick up Bam’s war flag against “We the People” and be wheeled forward into battle against us.

Just a couple more days and the 50 year professional career bullshit politician completes the coup takeover of our republic. How long will it take to grasp this fact: Pres. Coriolanus Snow is now entering our capital city to rule over us. Not to govern. To RULE over us…

The Russian opposition leader and critic of Vladimir Putin arrived in Moscow on Sunday for the first time since he was poisoned last year. He was detained by Russian police soon after his arrival at the airport. A courtroom was then established in a Moscow police station. He was ordered to remain in pre-trial detention for 30 days, pending a further trial. Navalny returned to Russia from Germany despite warnings from authorities that he will be arrested.

I am not alone. Not sure how things continue to function when millions of citizens no longer feel any loyalty to or from the society they live in.

I was raised to be a lady, and ladies don’t curse, but fuck these motherfuckers to hell and back for what they’ve done to me, and mine, and my country. All we Joe Blow Americans ever wanted was a little patch of land to raise a family, a job to pay the bills, and at least some illusion of freedom, and even that was too much for these human parasites. They want it all, mind, body and soul. Damn them. Damn them all.

With a defeated Trump on the way out, and with control over the levers of government, leftists abruptly settled all their old scores. Their aim was not just to humiliate opponents but to curtail opponents’ ability to organize against them.

Democrats applauded the censorship. And why not? In a few weeks, they will likely seek to end the Senate filibuster. In revolutionary fashion, they may try to admit new states, pack the Supreme Court, and end the Electoral College — moves designed to emasculate their conservative opposition.

Over a century ago, the oil, railroad, telegraph, and power industries created huge monopolies. They set up vertically integrated cartels. And they used their enormous profits to lavish gifts on politicians, control information, and destroy competition.

Some people likened these huge trusts to octopuses whose tentacles strangled freedom. In reaction, angry workers and farmers, muckraking journalists and novelists, and crusading populist and progressive politicians passed antitrust laws.

And so they broke up the monopolies.

Today, however, progressive politicians, Wall Street, the media, academia, Hollywood, and professional sports are all on the side of the mega-rich tech cartels. Partnering with Big Tech is both politically useful and financially lucrative.

So the values of the 19th-century rail and oil monopolies are back. But now they are married to the 20th-century leftist totalitarianism of George Orwell’s 1984. And they are further powered by the 21st-century instant reach of the internet.

This time around there will be no progressive trustbusters or muckrakers. They are in league with, or bought off by, the new electronic octopus.

And its tentacles are strangling the thoughts and speech of an increasingly unfree America.

Jonathan Turley: Trump impeachment trial – why his best defense may be no defense: If American politics shows anything, it is that enmity, not necessity is the mother of invention

On its face, the planned impeachment trial is at odds with the language of the Constitution, which expressly states that removal of a president is the primary purpose of such a trial. At the time, Trump will be neither a president nor in office. He will be a citizen and would be best served legally to forgo the trial entirely as extraconstitutional and invalid….

That is not an individual but an institutional issue to be raised before any trial. Each senator must decide whether such a trial is constitutional before deciding whether an accused can be retroactively removed for a high crime and misdemeanor.

This is an issue reasonable people can disagree upon. Many of us have struggled with this question for years without resolution….

If the Senate proceeds to a trial despite a lack of constitutional authority, Trump can sit in Mar-a-Lago and promise to challenge any effort to disqualify him from future office. Indeed, the political miscalculation may be greater than the constitutional miscalculation.

A trial with an empty defense table would magnify the view of many that this is an improper or, at a minimum, unnecessary exercise. Moreover, if a court were to later declare the trial unconstitutional, it would be seen as a vindication of Trump, who has long maintained that the Washington establishment has been using any means to keep him from office….

This was entirely about setting the bar—warning any other American, any outsider who seeks even to try to restore the American republic or challenge the administrative state and ruling class—that there will be massive personal and financial costs for such activity.

The latest impeachment should also put to rest the farce that somehow Democrats and Biden desire unity. Spare me!

Part of the justification for the latest abuse of the impeachment process was the talk of Trump being like Osama bin Laden and that his supporters are “domestic terrorists.” This should have made it very clear that the Democrats’ idea of unity is submission and conformity to their radical ideas, not compromise or a return to sanity and reason. They want nothing to do with unity, and you’d better get that memo straight in your head: there will be no dissent. Once the “highest form of patriotism, dissent is now terrorism.

They stand there, shaking their heads, telling us like little children that we have to move on and accept reality—that we have to accept the results of the election when, of course, it was they who made a farce of our election system to win it. They neglect to mention that they still have not accepted the results of the fairly decided election of 2016, which of course, is also what the multiple impeachments were about.

Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

In fact, spare me the hypocrisy on a whole host of fronts. They are mumbling on about supposed “sedition.” You really want to talk about sedition? Democrats, the Left, and the media (but I repeat myself) lied about the 2016 election and Russiagate in what was a truly seditious attempt to undermine a duly elected president—so spare me their theatrics and pretensions to decency….
