Already far down that slippery slope that leads to political violence, the inevitable result when you have deluded yourself into thinking that people who disagree with you are Nazis, because you lost an election and you're worried you won't win the next one either. https://t.co/iTQK2DX7Vu

The left and their “RESIST” army has gone from “RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!” to “NAZI! NAZI! NAZI!”
They cannot make up their minds if the rest of us are communists or the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (pretty much the same thing, by the way, just different boots). It is really rather queerly funny because it is called ‘the left’ for a reason, their allegiance to Marxism/ Maoism/ Communism/ socialism, and their “progressive” agenda to flip our representative republic into a “people’s republic” of their neo-communist philosophy and planned policies for the rest of us by taking away our individual rights and dictating every moment and aspect of life as we know it from womb to grave. Don’t doubt me. And the limo-elite celebrity rung of this pop culture imposed cast system are trying their damnedest to lead us by the proverbial nose into silence and submission.
Quite difficult to take such a premise from a media that has totally ignored and/or defended/dismissed communism around the world for over a century, even when it's been responsible for 100M deaths … and believes it's what our nation should aspire to as a governing system. https://t.co/iWXPlaGKoM

The fact is, to any, you know, space alien unfortunate enough to drop in on us right now and read the Webster’s definition of “fascism” and digest the tactics of the 20th century’s Nazis would, in an evidence line-up of behavior/tactics/ideology/agenda, point to the American left as the “Nazis”. *shrugs shoulders*
Radical left is literally behaving like Nazis and advocating fascist methods.. as Orwell once said: “the fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists”

The only reason that separation of children from their parents at the border is an issue:
1) Russia didn't work
2) Gun Control didn't work
3) Stormy didn't work
The Democrats need something/anything to distract us from their crimes and this is just their latest craze!
— Ryan Fournier (@RyanAFournier) June 24, 2018
Well, that is it right there. The democrats and their toady media must throw anything at the TV screen to deflect attention from the fact that the Congress investigation of wrongdoing by the FBI and DOJ of the Hillary Clinton email scandal and spying on Donald Trump before the 2016 presidential campaign is getting real close to that rotten center of the swamp onion. So, the left needs tears of clowns to try to distract your attention away from that…
… even if one of their centurions has to fake a premise in order to continue to push the false narrative while the rest of them continue to lie and shrug-off the facts to justify the ‘journalistic malpractice’ …
Time Magazine has issued what they are calling a “correction” for using a “photo illustration” that showed Donald Trump looking down sternly at a small child that was supposed to represent children being separated from their families at the border after their parents had crossed into the US illegally.
The photo was dishonest not only because Trump’s image was superimposed on the photo making it appear he was personally responsible for the little girl crying, but also because the child in question was never separated from her mother.
The sarcastic caption — “Welcome to America” — was also horribly misleading. Most Americans tolerate, if not welcome legal immigrants. The child and her parents were illegal and thus, in violation of the law. Illegal immigrants are not “welcome” and hundreds of thousands of them are deported every year under Democratic and Republican administrations.
It’s official — Time has been deliberately been out of touch with the worldview of Middle Americans for a half century.
But these screaming loons that are now resorting to physical violence…

Did not, and still do not, give two flying fucks at a rolling doughnut (props to Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.) that these border laws and policies this administration is carrying out and being slashed and burned for, are democrat laws and policies that were also carried out under the Obama administration as exposed by the photographs and recorded stories the MSM is now continually falsely and intentionally using to dump it all on Trump.
BACKFIRE: They are also waaaay overplaying their collective hand with all of this “Nazi!” bullshit, and the various calls for kidnapping, torturing and raping of Trump administration members and family children. The media bludgeoning us with the Nazi bat is actually having the opposite results on the American people who, in larger percentage, demand border control and security to cut way back and even halt illegal aliens from crossing our border…
You know, I'm starting to think there might be some differences between the concerns of a lot of Americans and the activists that make up the Democrats base.
Just a thought. https://t.co/dQ5ezjtJke

Why yes, America is watching & we're just so all-in on this violence, lawlessness, disorder, & anarchy. Please, keep it up. You're making it easy for people on the fence to climb down & choose a side. My 'lifelong democrat' dad told me yesterday he'll never vote for another dem. https://t.co/EdvGrsBTTm
— Maggie (@drillanwr) June 24, 2018
Dad said that to me after seeing this border outrage crap, and then realizing what the MSM was doing with their deception of the Obama timeline in order to blame Trump. But don’t get too excited. Dad will simply not show up to vote in future elections, rather than vote (God forbid) for a republican. Oh, he may go just to vote for the state and local stuff. Truth be told, he pretty much rejoiced that he was undergoing surgery on the day of the 2016 presidential election because he was not going to vote for Hillary Clinton, and no way in Hell voting for that ‘rich’ republican guy. I think he is more a closet libertarian, but no matter how many times I tried to explain that to him the more he recited the democrat mantra, “The democrats are for the working man”. Ahhhh, my Daddy!
The fact remains, rank and file hardworking, taxpaying, family raising Americans of both political party stripes just are sick and tired of this constant #WOKE #RESISTENCE and back-biting bullshit that is separating this nation. And the political players, especially in the MSM, are not allowing us to go our own way about our own business in the daily struggles and toils of life, as the Founding Fathers intended us to. No, we now have this constant and incessant interloping and interference in the MSM, the Hollywood hangover crowd, the drum-banging leftist mobs bellied-up to panel desks on TV and slinging hate and threatening violence in the streets we are trying to use to get to work and school. It is not acceptable to them that we the people, in all our divisions, can simply set aside those divisions and live and work together. At one time families could have members of different political stripes. However, during the Obama administration we were told to use the holiday meal table to badger and shame family members opposed to the wholesale doomed-to-fail takeover of our healthcare in this country by the democrats. “Get in their faces…
“, Obama himself chided. And then after Hillary lost her ass in the 2016 election Americans were instructed by our media dolts and Hollywood ape overlords to divorce from family members that did not vote for her (even if they didn’t vote for Trump) and even called for death of voters’ families and the elderly who slighted the presumptive empress’s ascension to the iron throne Obama spent eight years forging for her.
The left is really overestimating our level of “dumb” and their level of “enlightened” to a YUGELY ridiculous fault…

The Associated Press reported two years ago that in April 2014 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services relaxed its safety standards to promptly move migrant children out of government shelters and into sponsors’ homes when waves of illegal aliens surged across the southern border.
However, according to the AP’s reporting, the lowered standards resulted in children landing in unsafe homes where they were “sexually assaulted, starved or forced to work for little or no pay.”
The AP found almost 30 children who were placed with “caregivers” who exposed them to sexual abuse, labor trafficking, abuse or neglect.
HHS lowered standards by ceasing required fingerprinting of much of the adults claiming children as theirs. In April 2014, HHS ceased asking for original copies of birth certificates from most sponsors to prove who they were.
In May 2014, the AP noted, HHS stopped filling out forms that asked for sponsors’ identifying information prior to placing any of the children in the sponsors’ residence. Finally, the agency ended FBI background checks of the caregivers they were sending the migrant children to.
HHS estimated that around 90,000 migrant children were placed into sponsor care between 2013 and 2015, but the agency did not know how many of those children were trafficked because the department failed to keep track of them after their placement.

“How is it possible to know how many lost children there are in Haiti now?” Pelley asked Marie de la Soudiere, who is responsible for UNICEF’s program to unite lost children with their families.
“The answer is we don’t know. We feel it’s upwards of 50,000,” she estimated.

Michael Anton: “Why Do We Need More People in This Country, Anyway?”
As Capitol Hill Republicans attempt for — what, the eighth? ninth? — time in the past two decades to jam through an amnesty that their voters have explicitly, loudly and repeatedly said they do not want, it’s worth asking a question that is rarely raised:
Does the United States — population 320 million and rising –need more people? If so, why?
To most ears, the question sounds blasphemous, which illustrates the rottenness of our immigration debate. Actually, “debate” is far too generous. One side has made sure that there is no debate. Good people want more immigration, and bad people object or raise questions. An inherently political issue has been effectively rendered religious, with the righteous on one side, sinners on the other.
The basic question remains. The pat answer over the past 20 years 0– “to do the jobs Americans just won’t do” — may seem to have some salience with a 3.9 percent unemployment rate. But that only further begs the question. After at least two decades of wage stagnation and even decline, now that we’ve finally reached the nirvana of full employment (and who knows how long it will last), why not take advantage of this tight labor market to raise wages across the board? Especially for the working and middle classes that got nowhere or even lost ground during the housing, finance and tech booms of recent years?
Just about everyone knows the answer: because the business community does not like tight labor markets and the concomitant necessity to raise wages. That’s bad for the bottom line. The solution? More workers! And so the Chamber of Commerce Annex — a.k.a. Capitol Hill Republicans — dutifully attempt to do their donors’ bidding at the expense of their voters’ interests.
Economists in league with big business got good at torturing data to “show” that immigration benefits the economy. But as demonstrated by Harvard University’s George Borjas, one of the nation’s leading economists on the topic, immigration is a net economic benefit to immigrants and to their employers. To workers already here, not so much.
We know how more immigration benefits big business and the Democratic Party. No one has yet to convincingly explain how it benefits the American people as a whole. That’s the foremost consideration that should drive our immigration debate, and that’s what should determine our immigration policy.
Richard Fernandez: The Border Crisis
So great was elite prestige that fiction was sustained until suddenly it couldn’t any longer. The realization, when it came, was brutal. The rapidity with which the status quo of “open borders” has been overtaken by the “populist crisis” suggests that, like the financial crisis of 2008, a bubble has burst. It went broke gradually then all of a sudden. The globalization and multiculturalism that were supposed to have delivered prosperity and security have not paid off. This failure has started a run on political capital of elites which has yet to stop.
Trump and the European populists are picking up political assets at a bargain. Glenn Reynolds observed that “the press has three main kinds of power. One is to motivate the left. Another is to swing the middle. And the third is to demoralize the right. It’s pretty much lost the last of these, and I suspect the second one is fading too.” That’s tragic for the press.
A status quo that used to be able to buy on the margin has lets its account fall below the minimum level and perhaps for the first time has nothing more it can deposit. The media is shrill in the way a customer whose credit is bad out must shout at the waiter to get service. But it was grand while it lasted, the idea we could live without borders, without defense or even without civilization. Money for nothing and your checks for free. The music played for so long that even now no one can even imagine it could stop. How many will really prefer reality to illusion?

Declination: Western Self-Loathing: The Disease
Such bombardment has continued since I was a child. And I suspect even the strongest among us are worn down at some level by it. Once, when speaking with my friend Sarah Hoyt, she explained that Marxist morality, such that it is, has infected all of us to some degree. Even those who display few or no symptoms are often carriers of the disease.
If there is any hope, it is that like any virus, a vaccination might be possible. I am no stranger to people using guilt as an emotional weapon against me. It has occurred for most of my life in greater or lesser fashion due to many personal experiences I have little desire to discuss. As I look back, I am thankful for this at some level. I do not possess the strength of character that some do, but I was vaccinated somewhat against the disease, and that has helped.
Perhaps the next generation will be better inoculated against the disease. The distinct schadenfreude of Donald Trump’s victory of 2016 demonstrates that a wave of “don’t give a fuck,” as we might put it in vulgar terms, has swept the country.
Is it enough to treat the disease, and not merely the symptoms? I cannot say, but I can hope. One thing we can all do, however, is to stop looking back at our history in shame. For every great tragedy in history, there is wondrous discovery. For each moral failing, there is bright accomplishment. We must appreciate the good, and remember the bad so as not to repeat it, and let neither be used as a weapon against us, to make us hate ourselves, or where we came from. America has no reason to feel shame for her history. For if any have tried earnestly to be a just and moral people, though at times failing as all humans do, it is us. And those doing the criticizing have records far worse. If anyone should feel shame and guilt, it is they.
Dr. Peterson did something at the Houston talk he hadn’t done before to answer the above question. He’s been asked by a European publisher to write the preface to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s The Gulag Archipelago. To test the ideas, he read the newly formed thoughts to the Houston audience word for word. It took up nearly an hour. One was left hoping for more rhetorical exposition on his 12 Rules book and less reading but still, the concepts that Peterson touched on were profound and prescient considering the #resistance crisis facing America.
Concluding the preface, Jordan says, quoting himself:
Thus, the doctrine of group identity and victimizer/victim, inevitably ends with everyone identified, and rightly so, as an oppressor, as someone contaminated by bourgeois privilege and prosecuted without mercy for it. No mercy for the oppressor. But the oppressor is each of us because none of us deserve the advantage bequeathed upon us by favors of history.
Howard Kurtz: How “Trump Trauma” Is Crippling the News Media
Donald Trump is staking his presidency, as he did his election, on nothing less than destroying the credibility of the news media; and the media are determined to do the same to him. This is not just a feud or a fight or a battle. It is scorched-earth warfare in which only one side can achieve victory. To a stunning degree, the press is falling into the president’s trap. The country’s top news organizations have targeted Trump with an unprecedented barrage of negative stories, with some no longer making much attempt to hide their contempt. Some stories are legitimate, some are not, and others are generated by the president’s own falsehoods and exaggerations. But the mainstream media, subconsciously at first, has lurched into the opposition camp and is appealing to an anti-Trump base of viewers and readers, failing to grasp how deeply it is distrusted by a wide swath of the country.
These are not easy words for me to write. I am a lifelong journalist with ink in my veins. And for all my criticism of the media’s errors and excesses, I have always believed in the mission of aggressive reporting and holding politicians accountable.
But the past two years have radicalized me. I am increasingly troubled by how many of my colleagues have decided to abandon any semblance of fairness out of a conviction that they must save the country from Trump.
