“What complete fucktards we have boxed ourselves in with.”

No truer words have ever been spoken on Facebook than those by a FB friend of mine while he watched last night’s third presidential debate. BOOM! He’s right. But here is why…

This is what happens when the American people lay back and insist on being spoon-fed processed pablum and peeled grapes. Your taste buds dull and teeth rot away, and you cannot make a fine wine with peeled grapes. The Founding Fathers designed this nation/republic so that not only do the people have teeth, but sharp teeth with which to make themselves be heard by those in power.

The American people have been the slothful junkies getting their fixes from the one-sided MSM propaganda dealers, never questioning or doubting what they are being told because they’ve been too damn lazy to understand even the most basics of this republic’s founding and how it is supposed to function and its primary purpose that already was working in their favor. However, after well-over 200 years the American politician has hoodwinked the American population into believing the opposite. The American voters for decades, generations, have given up their power as the employer of the government, and have allowed the MSM to feed us this ideology that you shouldn’t be responsible for yourselves or work for your own financial growth. And in order to stay competitive with the democrats and their ‘progressive’ amputation of our republic and our rights (and our wealth) the republicans have had to adopt that whole ‘change’ bullshit because they are called ‘racists’ and “pro-slavery, anti-women, etc.” if they dare insist we look to and abide by the US Constitution in separation of powers, governing with the consent of the governed, individual states rights, personal property rights, gun rights preservation, etc. And so come the election cycles Americans have been (willfully) conditioned to vote for the salesman and the used car sales-pitch they like best.

It’s very much our fault. And I raise my hand as ‘guilty’ during my political formative years as a young, and liberal, adult when I first began voting. Most of my votes back then had absolutely no substance or knowledge behind them. But what’s queer is I would vote democrat but still chuckle at seeing Gus Hall’s name always on the ballot and know he was a communist buffoon, never imagining the democrat I was voting for loved the guy but just wanted him to “hush-hush, keep it down now, voices carry” and we’ll do this in a way so as to make the American people believe and think this is what they want and need as we bait and switch them into a socialist existence and away from a representative republic.

And hence we have the two we have right now.

For many elections the democrats have operated on ‘transforming and changing’ our system. Andrew McCarthy @ NRO (read the whole thing) wrote an excellent piece about this approach alarmingly pitched to the voters. Why is it alarming? Because our system is so unique to civilization’s long history that any ‘transformative’ “change” to it will obliterate it. It’s not that our Constitutional republic is fragile. It’s that it is a freaking math equation, and one wrong move collapses that equation …

We should always be on guard against presentism, but in this instance I do not hesitate to say that the upcoming presidential election is the most alarming in American history. I can make that statement with confidence because I do not believe the most disturbing aspect of the election is the choice of candidates – even though the two major party nominees present the worst choice the American people have faced in my lifetime (Eisenhower was president when I was born), and perhaps ever.

The reason this is such a frightening election is that the Constitution’s mechanisms for reining in or ousting a rogue president are in tatters.

We are not supposed to have transformative elections, contests that will forever change our system of government or enable government to orchestrate cultural upheaval. The Constitution is supposed to be our guarantee against that.

During the height of the Soviet Union the alcoholism rates in that empire were some of the highest in the world. I think we 21st century Americans can seriously understand and commiserate with that right about now.

Kurt Schlichter @ Townhall makes a “The Walking Dead” analogy to the political year that just wouldn’t quit: 2016 Is The Stupidest Year

Well, let me spoil it for you – I know the identity of the victim beaten to death on The Walking Dead premiere Sunday. The victim is my patience with this stupid year.

2016, die, die, DIE!

WHY WON’T YOU DIE?!?!?!?

2016 is stupid in every way, in every respect, from its stupid politics to its stupid pop culture to its stupid stupidity. Even the number “2016” is stupid. Just look at it. It’s not even an interesting prime number. It’s divisible by four, like a sucker.

[…]

By my talking about a stupid TV show, do you get the idea that I am trying to avoid something even more massively stupid? You do? Then you are not stupid.

The election is not only stupid on the surface, but it embodies a deep and enduring stupidity that will haunt our country and the world for generations.

Let’s look at the candidates. Donald Trump is certainly stupid.

[…]

Trump managed to beat 16 other GOP candidates, but only with the help of some serious stupidity. Stupid Jeb!, in a move that will put him in line for admission to the Stupid Hall of Fame, decided that what America needed was another Bush, except this time a snobby, jerky one who opposed all the things his party likes and who had given his opponent a freaking medal.

Jeb gave Hillary a medal. Let that sink in as you step back and behold, in awe, his remarkable achievement in the field of stupidity.

Back to Trump. This spoiled 10 year-old boy in a 70 year-old rich man’s body stumbled onto the one message Republican voters are dying to hear, and yet managed to stupid all over his own secret success sauce because he’s too stupid to put down the phone and shut the hell up. Let’s not even go there about the stupid inherent in thinking it would never come out how he had taped gynochats with Howard Stern and Billy Bush.

But his stupid is nothing compared with the stupidity of the people actually believing this guy is anything more than a firewall against something exponentially worse. You can choose herpes over leprosy, but you don’t have to talk yourself into buying the notion that herpes is cool.

And then there’s Hillary, a woman so stupid she botched the Washington, D.C., bar exam that the zombies from The Walking Dead could pass. Here’s how stupid she is. She has 99.99% of the reporters in America with their faces parked firmly in the seat of her pantsuit. She has every tycoon, robber baron, potentate, and ditzy Hollywood half-wit writing her giant checks. She has female genitalia, which much of liberal America considers enough, in and of itself, to qualify her to be president. She has all this, and Trump is still competitive in the polls.

“Why aren’t I 50 points ahead?” she cackles stupidly. Because you’re stupid, you venal moron. Your policies are stupid, your ideas are stupid, and the hacky clichés that you offer up to your trained seal supporters are breathtakingly stupid. I’d say she was stupid for all her email and corruption antics, but I don’t think that was it. I think she was just confident that she would never be held accountable – and justifiably so thanks to corrupt courtiers like James Comey.

But what’s really stupid, what’s so mind-bogglingly stupid that it makes me want to pound my head against concrete, is how all this stupidity is leading America to throw away a system that has generally brought us freedom and prosperity from 1776 to this accursed year of 2016. Our ruling elite, the stupidest Americans of all, think they can just ignore all those obstacles to their power like equality before the law, due process, and freedom, and that people will just keep going along with this stupidity.

No, they will start pushing back, and as my new book predicts, that could be really bad. Now people – not just Trump, but people who aren’t stupid too – are seeing the system as rigged against them, and the ultimate stupidity is assuming that our system can survive when a good portion of us believes it has morphed into a scam designed to impoverish and enslave us for the benefit of a bunch of jerks. Maybe 2016 is the stupidest of years, but maybe it is also the year we stopped being stupid and stopped taking it.

In a nutshell, Kurt agrees the American voter has been made stupid, and basically just walks to the polls like a pack of zombies.

My biggest bone-biting is with the people whom I hear (my Father and other relatives) using the fucking canard “The democrats are for the working man…”

REALLY?!? How do you figure that? Because it has been the ‘working man’ that has not only voted away their rights and large chunks of their paychecks to the type of government overreach and spending and central government overgrowth, but have contributed to the democrat policies and self-serving thuggery, that has sucked it’s share of money from the ‘working man’s’ paycheck in dues to funnel to the democrat party, that has completely trashed swaths of STILL democrat strangleholds, such as here in NE Ohio and Detroit and Chicago and New York City, just to name a few. And it has been the ‘working man’ that has been used and abused as pawns by one political party for generations. That said, as I stated above, the other political party has been too pussified to understand this and grow a pair and grab the ‘working man’ by the blue collar and shake him into the reality of his disgruntlement whenever the looted paychecks come out. It is the American ‘working man’, who is probably a union member in addition to a registered/voting democrat, that is deaf-dumb-blind to the fact that the big business CEOs and companies they work for, and hate and see as the enemy like good union members, are and have always been in bed with the democrat party. Don’t believe the damned Hollywood movies that portray it any other way.

The people in this nation need to put down the commercial TV remotes and take a long look at the way things are and the way they’re supposed to be. You have a Hell of a lot of catching up. Here’s a clue: Kim Kardasian and dancing stars and late night dickheads are even more stupid than the American voter, yet the American voter just allows these self-important, self-serving useful idiots to squeeze and form our opinions into the fucking mess they have become.

America, take back YOUR power and control from the MSM, the shit-headed Hollywood celebrities, and most importantly from the off-the-rails establishment political parties that are handing YOUR power over to an out-of-control government.

Kurt’s right. Donald Trump is, at the very least, a firewall against the turbo-thruster to damnation that is Hillary Clinton.
