And the coverage they did give Patricia Smith was to trash her and the RNC for allowing her to speak, but nothing but praise for Mr. Khan and the DNC, either without vetting him or believing we were too stupid not to.
In the days (July 19 to August 1) that followed Smith’s indictment of Clinton from the RNC podium, CBS (3 seconds) ABC (13 seconds) and NBC (54 seconds) gave her speech a total of just 70 seconds of coverage.
In the four days (July 29 to August 1) following Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazala’s speech NBC (31 minutes, 39 seconds), offered the most amount of time followed by ABC (14 minutes, 21 seconds) and then CBS (9 minutes, 13 seconds).
This is a textbook case of bias-by-agenda: One of these stories (the Khan story) matched the Democratic agenda, and the partisan media couldn’t push it hard enough. The other (the Smith story) reflected poorly on the Democratic nominee, so it was barely mentioned.
Meanwhile, over at the Clinton News Network: Desk bimbo Carol Costello trys over and over again to get Charles Woods, the father of U.S. Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods killed in the terror attack in Benghazi, to bash Donald Trump for the Khan dust-up and insist he apologize to the Khan family. Mr. Woods wasn’t having any:
COSTELLO: Do you think that Mr. Trump should apologize to Mr. Khan?
WOODS: You know, I really don’t know what was said. I haven’t seen a TV set since last Monday or Tuesday. I was camping with my daughter, taking her to a rodeo so I’m not really sure what was said.
COSTELLO: Well, he hasn’t apologized. He has not apologized.
[After playing a clip of Eric Trump on CBS’ This Morning]
COSTELLO: Eric Trump saying his father sort of apologized by calling khan’s son a hero and that Donald Trump has also sacrificed for this country.
WOODS: Well, I would agree with what Mr. Trump said. Mr. Khan was a hero, a patriotic American, and he was also a moderate Muslim.
COSTELLO: Should Mr. Trump apologize?
WOODS: Like I say, I don’t know what he originally said, and I don’t know what he said since then. I know who should apologize, and that would be Hillary Clinton, for lying to the American families who lost their loved ones as well as to the American public. She hasn’t apologized for that yet. In fact, she’s even doubled down and called us liars which is not appropriate, not at all. Like I say, either she’s lying or she has a bad memory.
COSTELLO: Who are you endorsing this election?
Hey, Carol, who is Mr. Khan endorsing??? Your point, dingbat?
WOODS: Well, my son would still be alive if Mrs. Clinton was performing her job properly as Secretary of State. So in good conscience, I cannot vote for the person who was directly responsible for the death of my son. There is only two choices and obviously I support Donald Trump. The main reason is because national security, as well as the economy, are the two most important issues that voters are going to have to decide upon next November.
COSTELLO: Just the last question I’ll ask you. Do you wish Mr. Trump would stop talking about the Khans now?
WOODS: Like I said… I haven’t watched a TV set since last Monday or Tuesday.
Umm, Carol, it’s you and the rest of the MSM that are constantly talking about Khan, as shown in the graphic above.
COSTELLO: He’s continued to double down on Mr. Khan.
WOODS: You know…When Hillary Clinton on several occasions has called the Benghazi victims’ families liars, should she apologize for that?
But, you see, those Benghazi families are just liars….
In yesterday’s post I gave a list of links to follow Khizr Khan, the money and connection to Hillary Clinton and to highly questionable Muslim groups. Since people began digging into Khizr Khan he has deleted his law firm website that specializes in Muslim immigration into America…
Khizr Khan, the Muslim Gold Star father that Democrats and their allies media wide have been using to hammer GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, has deleted his law firm’s website from the Internet.
This development is significant, as his website proved—as Breitbart News and others have reported—that he financially benefits from unfettered pay-to-play Muslim migration into America.
snapshot of his now deleted website, as captured by the Wayback Machine which takes snapshots archiving various websites on the Internet, shows that as a lawyer he engages in procurement of EB5 immigration visas and other “Related Immigration Services.”
The website is completely removed from the Internet, and instead directs visitors to the URL at which it once was to a page parking the URL run by GoDaddy.
The EB5 program, which helps wealthy foreigners usually from the Middle East essentially buy their way into America, is fraught with corruption. U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has detailed such corruption over the past several months, and in February issued a blistering statement about it.
But as Breitbart News and other new media have exposed Khan’s various deep political and legal connections to the Clintons—and to Muslim migration—the attack line has crumbled. Now, with Khan deleting his website in an apparent effort to hide his biographical information, the attack is falling apart even more.
What’s perhaps interesting is that also on this website that he has now deleted, Khan revealed that he spent nearly a decade working for the mega-D.C. law firm Hogan & Hartson—now Hogan Lovells LLP—which connects him directly with the government of Saudi Arabia and the Clintons themselves. Saudi Arabia, which has retained the firm that Khan worked at for years, has donated between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation. Hillary Clinton, despite the repeated urging of Trump, has refused to return the Clinton Cash money to the Saudis. What’s more, Hogan Lovells also did Hillary Clinton’s taxes—and helped acquire the patents for parts of the technology she used in crafting her illicit home-brew email server that the FBI director called “extremely careless” in handling classified information.
What’s more, the entire mainstream has proven negligence with regard to this matter as none of them even thought to look into this Khan guy’s law practice before bandying him about as some kind of magic elixir that cures the country of Trump.
And then there’s Barack Obama, who has never seen or met a ‘crisis’ he hasn’t insinuated himself into for personal gain: Khan’s Sacrifice and Obama’s Trash Talk
Barack Obama isn’t one to shy away from controversy. On the contrary, he’s usually right at the center of the scrum. It was no different when he addressed the Disabled American Veterans Convention Monday and weighed in on the controversy over Gold Star families. “As commander in chief,” Obama declared, “I’m pretty tired of some folks trash-talkin’ America’s military ‘n troops.” He then praised each branch of the military with entirely appropriate evaluations of their abilities and might.
But for Obama to position himself and his party as the true patriots in this election is a BIG lie. Yes, our Armed Forces are still the best in the world. However, Obama has weakened them at every turn with sequestration and other budget cuts, and, worse, with his leftist social engineering policies that have driven military morale to dangerous lows. And that’s not to mention what he’s done with veterans here at home, who have died by the thousands waiting for care from Veterans Affairs. On a global scale, Obama and Hillary Clinton have made it more dangerous for our military with their disastrous policies.
As for Clinton, she began this whole kerfuffle by carefully selecting just the right Gold Star family — two Muslim immigrants; Khizr Khan is even an immigration attorney — to speak at the Democrat convention and bait Donald Trump. Unfortunately, he took the bait, but she is the one who cast the line.
It’s worth noting that Captain Humayun Khan was killed in 2004 while saving other soldiers from a suicide bomber in a car in Iraq — the war Obama and Clinton abandoned for political gain. He served honorably and was awarded a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star Medal for his valor. And his family represents the moderate Muslims both Democrats and Republicans say they hope to assimilate. Sadly, instead of honoring Capt. Khan’s sacrifice, our political “leaders” have turned him and his family into a political football.
