UPDATE to yesterday’s developing story.
The running story in the media is that the police pulled over and stopped the vehicle because of a “broken windshield”. I’m pretty sure that is not what caught the eye of police…
The vehicle from Pennsylvania was custom painted as basically a moving advertising method for a gun range in that state. Not unusual. We all have seen vehicles painted to advertise a product or business. In addition, there were other pro-American logos and sayings on the vehicle, with the sign “We The People” in the rear window. Given the heightened attention to alleged ‘Patriot’, gun and US Constitution-clinging “domestic terrorists” over, you know, actual ISLAMIC TERRORISTS (who get no second-guessing and all the benefit-of-the-doubt from the security departments under this pro-Islam administration) I really think we can safely assume the alleged ‘cracked windshield’ was not what the authorities were triggered by. The owner of Higher Ground Tactical, 50-year-old John Cramsey, along with another man and a young woman, self-styled vigilantes, were on a mission to rescue a teenage runaway girl who was trapped inside a heroin den in a Brooklyn hotel in New York City.
Cramsey’s own professional model daughter recently (four months ago) died from her heroin addiction, along with her boyfriend. The resolute father then vowed to do whatever he could to fight the growing heroin problem. However, the discovery of some drugs inside the vehicle, along with the guns and ammo, has sparked a side speculation the three were some sort of rival drug dealers. Police are still investigating.
Just before he was arrested on Tuesday, Cramsey wrote on Facebook: ‘I’m currently 11 miles outside of Brooklyn New York and going to a hotel to extract a 16 year old girl who went up there to Party with a few friends.
‘One of those friends she went up there with will not be returning.
‘This young lady from Wilkes Barre is scared and wants to come home. Last night she woke to find her friends body next to her in the same bed were her friend died of another heroin overdose.
‘The Child named [censored] and she is from the Wilkes Barre area.
‘A Facebook message to the Mother and the Brother with no response yet. I’m bringing her out of NY today and anybody else in that hotel that wants to go home too.’
Cramsey is believed to have made similar ‘rescues’ in recent months.
A picture of the fluorescent Dodge truck believed to be involved shows it covered with logos for the gun range. A sign in the back window reads: ‘We The People’.
When Daily Mail Online reached Higher Ground Tactical by phone, they said they had heard something about the arrest but couldn’t comment any further.
The Joint Terrorism Task Force is assisting in the investigation.
They said there was ‘no nexus to terrorism,’ according to NBC New York.
Law enforcement sources said they were ‘gun authorities.’
Authorities believe the suspects were in possession of the firearms as part of criminal activity, likely heroin related.
Drugs were also found in the vehicle along with the guns, according to one law enforcement official.
The suspects reportedly said they wanted to save a friend who is on heroin and being held against her will in Brooklyn.
A Port Authority spokesman told Daily Mail Online: ‘Astute Port Authority Police work led to the stoppage of a vehicle on the New Jersey side of the Holland Tunnel this morning, leading to the arrest of three individuals from the state of Pennsylvania on a variety of charges related to illegal possession of guns and ammunition.
‘At this time, the investigation is continuing, but the agency does not believe the incident is terrorism-related
‘Multiple weapons (Rifles and handguns) some loaded. Under arrest are 2 males in their 50’s and a female in her 20’s. Charges are pending.’
Two things here…
1. What sort of “drugs” were found in the vehicle? (BTW, was the vehicle search even legal? I mean, what ‘probable cause’ was listed?) Illicit street drugs? Or prescription ‘drugs’ one of the occupants needed to carry at all times for a condition? Advil? Tylenol? Midol? Vitamin supplements? Hell, sugar? Because we know how NYC treats sugar as a ‘drug’. What I am saying is the way things are today the authorities and the media are not above hyping something not illegal into a bullshit issue.
2. Also, New York, and NYC in particular, has a very strict gun ban. Not sure if the vehicle was technically in that jurisdiction when pulled over, but at the very least, should their story pan-out to be true, the weapons and ammo will be confiscated permanently from these people with some sort of fine or whatever. And don’t rule out some sort of jail sentence for one or all the occupants within the vehicle, as to set an ‘example’, of course.
